The Porsche 997 Carrera equipped with an iPE Innotech Performance Exhaust system offers an outstanding high-pitched racing sound as well as a comfortable, quiet cruise when desired by the driver. All parts of the exhaust system are individually designed to fit perfectly on the Porsche 997 Carrera. A unique design overcomes the limitations of the stock exhaust, so power, sound, and driving enjoyment can be increased dramatically.
A Valvetronic exhaust delivers both power and dynamic valve control at the push of a button with the iPE Innotech Performance Exhaust system. The Valetonic exhaust produces an extremely loud and aggressive sound as well as a comfortably quiet cruise when desired.
Three different modes of operation are available for the Valvetronic system:
Open: In open mode, the valves are fully opened to release maximum power and flow, creating an impressive sonic display.
Closed: the valves are closed for a more comfortable cruise, such as on a long trip.
Auto: enables the system to automatically adjust valve movements according to engine rpm and pedal pressure for a dynamic driving experience.
