The West Africa Automotive Show (WAAS) 2025 in Lagos, Nigeria, was more than just an exhibition – it was a statement. A statement that tuning, training, and technology are not confined to traditional markets. That performance and sustainability can (and should) go hand in hand. And that VIEZU is committed to shaping the future of automotive innovation across borders.
A Powerful Presence on the WAAS Stage
Representing VIEZU at WAAS were Chris Carter and Matthew Levin, both seasoned professionals in automotive tuning and diagnostics. With a sleek, compact stand showcasing KESS3, ECM Titanium, Autotuner, Magic Motorsport Flex, EVC WinOLS, and training solutions from the VIEZU Technical Academy, the mission was clear: open doors, spark conversations, and bring our industry-leading tools and support to a region full of opportunity.
Chris summarised it best:
“Representing VIEZU at WAAS 2025 was a real honour, showcasing tuning to the West African market and raising awareness of a service which has great potential and which can contribute to sustainability in the Automotive sector was an exciting project to be involved in. Nigeria has a vibrant and varied atmosphere and is a real growth market – VIEZU are perfectly placed to offer product advice as well as industry leading training and support, allowing business in the region to flourish.”

What We Learned at WAAS
WAAS brought us face-to-face with workshops, dealers, and tech-minded entrepreneurs from across West Africa. It seems that the market is hungry for Knowledge about tuning – Many businesses already understand tuning basics but lack reliable access to modern tools, structured training, and technical aftercare, and that’s where the VIEZU Technical Academy is ready to help. We offer online and in person training courses that can teach you how to use the wide varity of tuning tools we offer, help you progress to more advanced tuning methods, and even to learn the science of custom writing your own tuning files.

Our Next Steps in West Africa
WAAS was just the beginning of our journey into a market full of potential. The conversations we had in Lagos sparked ideas about how we might better support workshops and tuners in the region-whether that’s through more localised tool options, ways to make training more accessible, or working more closely with those already on the ground. We’re exploring what meaningful presence and partnership could look like in West Africa and look forward to building on the momentum of the show in ways that make sense for the businesses we met.
