Live WinOLS5 Tuning Webinar Video: How to Edit Diesel ECU Maps on the VW Tiguan EDC17C46
Originally broadcast live on Tuesday 13th January 2026, this was the first live WinOLS5 tuning webinar hosted by VIEZU in 2026.
This on demand webinar video is the recorded version of that live WinOLS5 tuning session, where we demonstrated real world diesel ECU map editing using a VW Tiguan 2.0 TDI fitted with a Bosch EDC17C46 ECU.
The webinar focused on practical workflow inside WinOLS5, showing how tuning theory was applied to an actual vehicle file rather than isolated examples or generic screenshots. It was designed for tuners already working with WinOLS, as well as those moving into more advanced diesel calibration at the start of the year.
The Bosch EDC17C46 ECU is widely used across VW Group diesel vehicles and remains one of the most common ECUs encountered in professional tuning environments. Throughout the session, emphasis was placed on approaching this ECU correctly to achieve safe, consistent, and repeatable results.
The live webinar was hosted by VIEZU CEO Paul Busby alongside Technical Director Simon White.
