A Major New KESS3 Feature Has Arrived

What KESS3 Data Logger Means for Your Workshop

The new KESS3 Data Logger feature has been designed to help workshops capture and review live vehicle operating data for:

Using the OBD connection, KESS3 Data Logger can record a range of useful vehicle parameters, depending on the vehicle and protocol available. Based on the Alientech webinar presentation, this can include items such as engine speed, vehicle speed, throttle position, boost pressure, lambda-related values, temperatures and more, with GPS-based data also available through the KESS3’s internal GPS receiver when signal is available. The webinar also states that GPS is an added benefit rather than a requirement, so the function can still be used where GPS is not available, such as on an indoor dyno.

For busy workshops, this means more visibility into what the vehicle is doing in real operating conditions, whether that is on the road, during fault-finding, or while reviewing results from tuning changes.
