VW Scirocco R IPE Exhaust System

The Scirocco R is a beast of a hot hatch. With a breathtaking 2.0l petrol turbo kicking out over 260hp this car is a formidable weapon on any road or track. But, as with so many great cars out there in the market place, it suffers from a restrictive and sound deadening exhaust system. Owning one of these cars is to own a complete package of a great engine and a great chassis, but this is all let down by the underwhelming sound from the restrictive and quiet OEM exhaust system.

The IPE Full Stainless Steel Exhaust system on the Scirocco R releases the animal within allowing the car to rev freely and growl and roar as it should have done straight out of the factory.

The IPE exhaust system is made from extremely high grade T304 stainless steel, so it not only looks great but it’s built to last a long time.

The system also features the brilliant Valvetronic custom controllable rear mufflers. The Valvetronic system when left in AUTO mode on the remote control fob, will self-adjust the note and sound of the exhaust as you power through the RPM band. The AUTO mode allows you to have a more pronounced road presence in the low RPM band and lighter throttle areas but remains more subdued than the aggressive throaty sound you get higher up the RPM band when the Valvetronic system opens up.

The system comes with three options on the remote, with AUTO/ON/OFF giving the driver the full control over the sound of the exhaust.
